Following the unveiling of ‘Light Song’, Gaurav Gupta’s latest bridal couture collection, the designer unveils the sixth edition of his celebrated digital IP, The Bride Side. Extending the collection’s narrative beyond the runway, the series explores the many expressions of the contemporary bride through cinematic storytelling and craftsmanship. With the collection now available across Gaurav Gupta boutiques in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Hyderabad, The Bride Side offers an intimate look at some of its defining bridal creations.
The latest chapter features celebrated Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon, who steps into three distinct worlds of Gaurav Gupta Couture. Each look unfolds as its own episode, celebrating a different expression of the modern bride. Set against a refined architectural backdrop, the visual narrative balances sculptural couture with effortless elegance, offering a fresh perspective on bridal dressing.
Kriti embodies the confidence, grace, and individuality at the heart of the Gaurav Gupta bride. Through this series, she journeys across three ceremony-day looks from Light Song, each representing a unique mood within the bridal experience.
The journey begins with The Asteria Gown, a midnight blue gown featuring a bucket corset and glistening embroidery paired with an embroidered veil. A vision of celestial glamour, the look reimagines bridal dressing through sculptural silhouettes and luminous craftsmanship.
The second chapter introduces Prabhā, a French taupe lehenga featuring an embellished bucket corset with Art Nouveau-inspired zari zardozi embroidery, highlighted by bugle bead shading in a silver to antique silver gradation. Finished with a fluid trail and an embroidered cape with macramé panels, the look reflects quiet strength and refined opulence.
The final chapter presents the Siren Bloom Lehenga, an ivory scalloped lace lehenga featuring a sculpted blouse intricately embroidered with tonal crystals, pearls, and three-dimensional floral appliqué, paired with a sculpted brocade draped cape. Romantic yet architectural, the look captures the ethereal beauty of the Gaurav Gupta bride.
